Good Points

It's reliable, fun, smart - and totally indestructible?! From the day I've had it, to replace the most badly made Nokia I think I've ever seen, I've not had a single problem with it. The phone menu's are extremely easy to navigate, the picture quality on the camera is really great too and as a plus - I have yet to run out of Memory on the variety of downloads! (MP3s, Pictures, Videos, etc.)
The Bluetooth connectivity and Infrared are really useful, nearly all modern phones are equipped with them - and for sending Media it really is invaluable. Who needs MMS now huh?
Also, I'll explain my 'indestructible' theory, of course not intentionally - but these things do happen, I've dropped it on such surfaces... Tiled floors, concrete, you name it. Ive stood there and thought ''Oh no... lets wait for the smashed screen'' and...nope, pick it up and its without a scratch - yes, it's that well made. I'd recommend it to just about everybody, I think.


Bad Points

It's a real struggle for me to think of some criticism for it...
But hey, there's got to be some!
Very occasionally, and... I mean occasionally, the power just totally cuts - with a full battery, in the middle of a call - in fact, who knows... It's happened to me 3 times now in the 2 years I've had it, easily fixed...you just turn it on again! Although it is a little odd...
Secondly, the recording facility for both sound and video is a little disappointing. Fantastic, clear pictures - then a video you can barely make out! I Now, these phones aren't designed for recording at amazingly loud gigs, that I understand, but why does it crack up recording a conversation?
It needs a little tweaking.


General Comments

It's now perhaps quite obvious that I speak in very high esteem of both Samsung and this particular model. The design, reliability, service and quality are, so far, unmatched to me. If you want a flashy phone more for the Media and ''DJ's out there amongst us, well... there's probably better, but for everybody else? Go for it.

    I have the D600 and the sturdiness of these phones are exceptional. On one occasion when getting out of my car my phone slipped out of my bag flew across the road, then it was promptly ran over. Guess what two tiny scratches on the side, thats it. Great phone, great brand and great review.
