Fantastic space for such a small car. Easy to enter with elevated seating position. Cheap to insure.
Conversion of rear seats to luggage area over complicated. Watch out for severe blind spot caused by double A pillars. Poor transmission, clutch. Not as economical as hoped for 35-37 MPG.
I went for the Vauxhall Meriva Enjoy 1.6 16v because of it's raised driving position made it easy for the wife to get in and out and because of the flexible rear seating gave fantastic load carrying ability for such a small car.
However I had a new clutch fitted after 5000 miles, and when I sold it at 15000 miles it needed another clutch.
Also I found the double A pillars caused severe blind spots which made it more and more nerve racking at roundabouts and level crossings. I lost count of the number of times I did not see approaching cars and pedestrians.
