Early in 2006, my wife and I approached them because we knew we were struggling to pay our debts. With a young baby, we felt we didn't want to go down the bankruptcy route, as we felt we could lose our home. It was only after speaking with them, my wife and I realised how much debt we had and became very worried. However, with the help and understanding of one of their advisers, we had an IVA accepted by our creditors, and we are now in control of our repayments; meaning we happily celebrated our baby's 1st Birthday.
