Smooth cycling, really nice gun, light
Expensive, too nice to carry through the briars for rabbits
Bought the Remington Classic Field Semi Auto in 28 gauge. It's a really nice gun, that's a real pleasure to carry into the woods. It is very light, enabling someone to be able to carry it all day long. The cycling in this gun is extremely smooth, with no hang-ups at all. The only drawback I can see with the Remington semi-autos is the pricetag that comes with them. They are not "cheap" by any stretch of the imagination. Having said that, though, it will keep it's value, which is great. Anyhow, the bluing on the gun is really nice, the checkered stock, though it has no finish, is also nice. It handles very well, and is a fantastic gun for small game hunting. A must have for anyone who can afford to spend the money for it.
