General Comments

The Mazda RX-8 5 Speed 192ps is a hoot to drive. Seats four people quite comfortably better than equivalent Audi TT or Porsche Boxter.
Suprisingly smooth power delivery for the size engine and does pack a punch when floored. Needs to be treated with respect, especially in the wet with the traction control off.
Exceptionally good road holding, almost go-kart handling.
Petrol consumption a bit on the high side, but what do you expect from such a superb sports car. On average when driven sensibly the fuel consumption can average 20MPG at best.
Controls laid out within easy reach of the driver and the cockpit is easy on the eye. Comfortable heated leather seats are common on most 192BHP models and can be a treat on those cold mornings.
Sorry, no electric folding wing mirrors which would help if you have to park on a narrow street.
Strongly recommend this car if you want a true thrill. Some people are worried about the fact that this car has a rotary engine instead of the conventional, however Mazda is one of the only few manufacturers that have perfected this engine over the years, and are the leaders in this field at the moment. Parts are widely available, not that this engine need a lot of bits but they are at hand if needed.
Service cost is reasonable just over £300 for a 50k service (not bad at all).
Go on spoil yourself and enjoy.
