Good Points

Huge WOW Factor! Tremendous acceleration, very fast, very smooth. It's a rocket ship on rails. No joke.


Bad Points

The horn sounds tinny (it's gotta go) and yeah the low fuel light comes on early.. get used to it.


General Comments

My brother bought the Harley V-Rod and I wanted something to keep up with him, yet I didn't want the exact same bike. I started shopping around, and took the state run motorcycle course and I picked out the Rocket 3. I hadn't ridden for about 10 years and to be honest I hadn't had a whole lot of riding experience before that. This machine was just as they said.. "forgiving". The bike is very nimble, tame, smooth, quiet and a total pussy cat.. until you no longer want it to be, then it just explodes with raw power. My driving skills have improved significantly since my purchase and I put 500 miles on my bike in 30 days which consisted of weekend riding only. When you ride this beast it feels like your gliding down the road, you don't realize your navigating the turn until you are through it, because the bike just seems to follow your thoughts as you ride. Then you twist that wick and you can feel your arms pulling away from you as you struggle to keep yourself in the seat and your feet on the pegs and you realize! This is thing is amazing!
Bottom line - a constant smile on your face, a wild free glide ride & if you're not careful you can easily break 100mph in 3rd gear.
Be Careful if your new... learn first, then enjoy! This is one bike you won't outgrow.
