Symbian OS. I have found it to be completely stable, and there is a vast range of (often free) applications available.
Customisable menus. Applications, including user-installed ones, can be moved between menus, and their screen positions can be adjusted.
Applications, either built-in or installed, can be assigned to cursor keys, making for quick selection without accessing any menus.
Video playback is extremely good. I have loaded Smart Movie and get excellent judder-free results.
Voice recognition works very well, and the system does not have to be taught.
Construction quality. The phone feels solid in the hand, with no creaking or groaning as the casing flexes.
Bad Points
The main camera has not impressed me, and the flash is too weak to be a really useful feature.
General Comments
Overall I have been more than pleased with the Nokia N70, and am staying with the brand and the OS as I am upgrading to an E70.
