Sainsburys give good value for money on fuel. Staff are pleasant and you also get the added incentive of Nectar points which I collect up for Christmas shopping. I do about 1000 miles per week & use Sainsburys petrol almost exclusively. By Christmas I get around £50 worth of free shopping. Good tip for any other company car drivers.
Getting a VAT receipt can be a pantomime at some stores because staff take it upon themselves to discard part of the receipt before handing it to you. The prices vary greatly depending on where in the country the stores are.
The service you get from Sainsburys is really dependent on the attitude of staff at your local store. But unlike other brands you do get good value for money & loyalty points.
