Good Points

The only good points about my dealings with St Helens Glass was the Salesman that sold us the products knew the product inside out & the fact that when the work was finally carried out, it only took 1 day.

Bad Points

Expensive, incorrect info on payments therefore making products dearer, constant phone calls AFTER I had the work done trying to sell me more stuff - even though I asked to be taken off their mailing list & legal action was threatened, cannot get hold of them on phone if you do want them.

General Comments

I work in a service industry & have come across some dire companies in my time but St Helens Glass are something else! How have they managed to stay in business so long! I have been trying to ring them all week simply to get a copy of the Guarantee for work that they carried out on my property last year. I rang Monday & got through to someones voicemail who was 'away from his desk'. Since Monday I have called & mailed every day with no response - the lines are 'Busy'
This makes me sick considering the harassment I got from them on the phone pretty much every week after they did some work for me. In the end I spoke to one of the Supervisors, with whom I threatened legal action to stop the calls - he assured me that my name would be taken off their mailing lists. Within days I was getting calls again!
Also we ended up spending £1000 more on our windows that was originally quoted due to some fancy figure work by the Sales Rep who although knew his product, produced our quote & payments on the back of a scrap of paper so when the payments came in we had to pay so much more. We were also quoted for the work to take 2 days & although I was happy that the work was done in just 1 - we again were losing out as we will have been quoted 2 days on their labour.
I have never felt the need to leave a review - good or bad - on anything in my life before but I hope that as many people as possible read this & so are made aware of the outfit that is St Helens Glass & to spare them the heartache I have been through.
