Stunning performance. Level of grip and handling. Luggage capacity - 2 reasonable boots, fine for weekends away. Beautifully built.
Mine has the plastic rear window. It has to be folded by hand half way through the "automatic" lowering process. Embarrassing. Later ones are glass and a glass replacement is available for about £750.
I have driven quick cars for years but the Porsche Boxster 3.2 S is something else. I test drove a couple of 2.5 Boxsters before I bought the 3.2. The difference is like chalk and cheese. The acceleration is spine tingling. The handling is frightening in a nice way. Learn to trust it and almost nothing can go round corners like this. My wife and I invent places to go at the weekend just to drive the car on twisty A roads. Large grins from start to finish. As a bonus the sound this car makes is like music ranging from a deep subdued throaty noise at 1500 revs to an absolute howl at 7000.
Don't test drive a Boxster S unless you really intend buying. After this anything else is disappointing.
