Good Points

I got this guitar in black and as long as you keep it clean it looks excellent.
Nice smooth feel to the whole guitar and an excellent sound.
I bought this guitar in a starter pack which contained a tuner, spare set of strings, intro DVD, strap and plectrums, and for £79 it was a bargain.
It is a Fender so you know your getting a reputable product from a company with lots of experience.


Bad Points

For a beginner this guitar might be dificult as the strings seem particularly heavy (.12) however this is very simple to rectify, simply buy some lighter strings (recommend .10).
In black, all finger marks show up as does dust, however I would still buy black again given the choice, it looks ace :o).


General Comments

Ideal for older beginner players who will have stronger fingers but maybe not so much for younger learners as it is. However, as I said, this guitar can be modified to make it more playable for younger players.
