Good Points
Superb gardens and one of the most magnificent stately homes in England.
Can pay to go around the gardens separately to the house.

General Comments
Set in the rolling hills of Derbyshire next to the river Derwent, this fine stately home, which is still lived in my the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, was voted best loved stately home in the UK by readers of the Radio Times magazine and Channel 5.

Chatsworth House is lavish, with many great works of art and contains a wonderful sculpture gallery and chapel. This is set in one of the most beautiful and interesting landscaped gardens and over 1000 acres of parkland.
