No good points! Except they are quick to TAKE money... the rest is all bad!
They took my money and did not provide tickets! They also didn't answer my calls or emails.
I booked 2 tickets to see The Killers in Brighton on the 3rd March and received confirmation via email and through the post. I waited until 72 hours before the show, and then called their 0870 'customer service' number as my tickets hadn't arrived. I tried this 18 times over the 3 days leading up to the show, but the phones were never answered. I held on for over 10 minutes on some occasions!! I also sent 4 emails and didn't get a response to these either. The day beofre the show, I stumbled across this site, and realised I wasn't alone!!
The day of the concert came and went and I had no choice but to miss the show (it's hard to get in without tickets!).
I went to their offices (18 Soho Square) on the Monday after the show. They were reluctant to talk to me, but when someone did, she was polite but was talking in circles. She contradicted herself several times when I questioned if my tickets ever even existed, and looked quite uncomfortable. I was told I would get my refund that day, and I would get a call to confirm. I took her 2 phone numbers - which I found out at a later date aren't even registered to that address! And not surprisingly, my money is still in their hands, and I have had no call either.
However - in trying to trace them through the people who rent out the offices - I have been told that their phones have been cut off and they are unlikely to return to their office - ever. Could this be the downfall of Tickettout?? I can't guarentee, but look on their website and as far as I can tell, you can't buy tickets anymore. Could be something good to come out of this after all!
