The decoration of the building that the pub is situated and the neighborhood are lovely.

I felt that the food portion is non equivalent with their cost. No underlined smoking area. Inappropriate behavior by the staff. Various misconducts.

It was my first time in the stated pub which I visited with a group of my colleagues. We sat in a table next to the rear exit door which had an ashtray - we did not brought it later - and we ordered our morning refreshments. The area in which we were located had our ten tables. At one table in our rear it was a couple that also was smoking. Suddenly and when the server brought the refreshments the manager, arrives and with offensive attitude requested to extinguish our lighted cigarettes because we are in a non smoking area! As I mentioned a) we found an ashtray in our table and as smokers that was the main reason why we sat there and b) In our area there were also other smokers! How can you explain that?

Having a short walk in the near park we returned for our meal - regardless of the above event that we considered strange, we thought that was not worthy to allocate ourselves further away from the park but rather to just have our meal with no smoking this time.

When I ordered my food and my beer the cashier at the bar did not gave a receipt and his excuse was that the ink in the machine was just finsihed! When I returned back at my table and my food arrived I asked for a slide of bread. They brought a plate with four slides of bread. Leaving from the pub the server stopped me and ask me if I had ordered bread and butter. I replied that I asked for a slide of bread and if they considered to be an amount - four slides - to charged yes I order bread but not butter. She reply that I ordered butter and I clarified to her that I had only the four slides of bread and no butter whatsoever. She left and had few words with the manager(s). She, then just returned and handed me once again the receipt with not a word. I once again state to her - in presence of the manager(s) and the cashier - that I had no butter and I consider that is not reasonable to charge me for something that did not have on my table. The cashier then replied that I sould have asked for one! And the manager with an ironic manner stated that : "we just call bread as 'bread and butter'". I smilled and paid the bill. In the end I relized that four slides of bread equals 2 Bread + Butter £2.70!

Maybe you will think that I am over reacting, however all my colleagues considered the above cases as the worse conduct behaviour by both the staff and the managing of the mentioned pub.
