Good Points

The point that really sold the Miele to me was the cutlery tray in the top of the dishwasher rather than having a basket in the bottom tray. We have put items in this dishwasher that we have been washing for years - i.e. like a plastic chopping board which was no longer white and it came our virtually sparkling. Glasses and pots are squeaky clean. It is really easy to clean inside. Also, since having it for nearly 7 months, when we got it we put the dishwasher salt in it, which according to Miele we should have need to top up after about 3 months - not yet needed to!


Bad Points

Was all installed ok, but we could not set the water hardness level as per the instructions - apparently the local store we purchased from said that they had rang Miele to check what this should be and our area is the same as the factory setting. Some cutlery (knives mainly) out of the same range - cheaper ones do come out with rust spots on, but this is probably down to that fact that it is cheap cutlery. Does not dry not stick pans


General Comments

The bad points I have listed are really being pinickity and would not prevent me from buying another Miele product, apart from the price of Miele products does appear to be double a standard one, however, if they last double the time it is better in the long run.
