I was sold a mobile over the phone, in fact they phoned me to offer me a free upgrade. I gratefully accepted as they told me they were calling on behalf of Orange and it would be free, they told me I would automatically be charged an upgrade fee of £50 which would be reimbursed by a cheque as it was 'FREE'.
My phone was then immediately disconnected as they had apparently sent me my new phone (which I hadn't received) I rang them to re connect my phone as I'm in the military and when away from home for long periods my phone is my life line. They declined to reconnect the phone as I apparently had my new phone as it had been connected! After 3 weeks with no new phone or ability to make calls my phone arrived. I had bad customer service where by during one phone call I was spoken to so rudely that I asked to speak to a manager, at which point the man in question swore at me and hung up the phone. It took 3 more calls for my call to be answered!
I put this experience behind me only to receive a charge of £150 (two months later) for my 'FREE' upgrade.
Again i phoned several times, I was promised a reimbursement, so I sent 3 copies of my bill with the charge over a period of 6 weeks and still no money......
I recommend anyone receiving a call from this company to hang up your phone immediately, do not spare Fast Fones aka FoneWarehouse the time of day
