Good Points

Erm... Difficult to think of any good points as more often than not I am left being nagged by my other half as to why it didn't record or chopped the last 2 mins of her programmes.

Looks - bit 80's at first glance


Bad Points

Poor Start up Time....
Dodgy Internal clock that seems to start recording early and finish early.
Noisy HDD - not the normal clicking... but strange wining
Rubbish TV listing - some days you get all of them... the next some channels are missing.
Unreliable Timer Recording - some occasions it records and others it just sits there


General Comments

Seems like a great idea being able to watch and record two separate channels at the same time, but in practice the software lets it down. I find it hard to believe that Panasonic released this machine - especially with so many bugs in the software.

Many times it says there are new channels available... and yet doing a scan reveals none.... an hour later the same thing happens....

Very Very Frustrating when you get to the climax of some programme you have recorded and it stops because the clock doesn't sync properly.

One Final point - has anyone managed to find the machine on www.panasonic.co.uk ? I looked so I could ask and they don't list PVR's on their contact us page
