Its a Great Reliable .22 caliber rifle with accuracy and good appearances for the price.
Equal value to Quality.

The 6 pound factory trigger,but not a problem after market tricks can give you 2.2 lbs
Which improves shooting.

You don't need to do much to this rifle to shoot great, Just take it out of the box clean the excess grease (Read The Safety Instructions First) load your magazines and voila your as good as that for many years to come, just have to disassemble it once in awhile to clean it .
I have the Stainless with my own custom trigger job which gives me less then 2 lbs of pull, have made my own magazine extension for quick release of the Mag, got a polyurathane rear pin for the receiver cushion stopper and a muzzle suppressor. Also a 3x9x40 adjustable Bushnell Scope.
Overall I have had this 10/22 Ruger Sturm Rifle for about 17 years and have fired between 12,000 to 15,000 rounds ,I keep it clean and lube it with Synthetic Super Lube (spray can) for all the moving parts except in the barrel.
This is my own setup and in general I have found it to be a very reliable Tool for the trade, I have used it for small game hunting and has performed great even in minus weather conditions (cold Canadian winter's).
This review is based on only 2 types of ammunition to which I have been using for the past 17 years
1st choice is CCI STINGERS .22 LR the most powerful round Hollow point in North America, good for hunting at 150 yards. CCI STINGERS also gives a little kick but nothing like a large caliber and the 2nd is the Remington Yellow Jacket .22 LR, this round is particular great for hunting small game, good mushrooming, lots of damage up to 100 yards. Both of these rounds never jam when used with the original 10 round Rotory Magazine.
I use both of these rounds on paper shooting and they perform excellent up to 200 yards with a slight drop.
Now come's the Magazine, this hide away 10 Round Magazine is the Greatest and Most reliable Magazine ever designed in this Universe, thats to my experience it has never jamed in all my 17 years of use. I have 10 - 10 round magazines and have only taken them apart once to clean them and lubed them.
Overall I would never replace this rifle for something else, and the greatest thing about this rifle is that there are hundreds of aftermarket accessories and different combination's to designing this rifle to which ever way your heart desires in making it L@@K wild and mean.
