Good Points

Very fast 2.66 P4 compared to the "NEWER" 1.3 - 1.6 laptops currently out there ! Easy to use, nice size screen


Bad Points

Pre-installed software not very good. No DVD RW just combi drive. Only two USB ports not wireless, but has a PCMCIA port Only 256mb RAM


General Comments

I formatted and reinstalled windows xp and the software that I wanted runs like an absolute dream now. - After reinstalling software properly (not from the recovery disks supplied) It has improved performance dramatically especially after putting the memory up to 512mb. Never had a problem with it. As for overheating problems mentioned by other users as long as the laptop is left with clear space underneath it's fine. Would have been better if the air vents were on top though, because a lot of users tend to have it on a cushion or something similar on their lap. I am a PC technician and I find this laptop up there with the best of them for reliability. Apart from no DVD RW, lack of memory and poor software.
