The car is so versatile, it allows a number of seating arrangements, or if you so wish it becomes a medium sized van, I have a 1.9 TDi and it has been the most reliable car I've had. The economy is superb mine has done 102000 miles and I still achieve between 45-50mpg I have my 12 monthly service costing £100 and the car just goes on and on drives like new. The body work is in mint condition after 9 yrs as well as the interior I have 2 young kids and they do like to test the inside.
Bad Points
Very minor really - I feel the blowers could be a little bit more powerful especially when needing to demist the windscreen, but aside from that its all good.
General Comments
Before writing this I have been to look at some newer models with the view to upgrading and I test drove 4 different people carriers, including the newer Seat Alhambra they weren't brand new but they all had price tags of £10000 plus, on the way home I paid real attention to my 9yr old Alhambra and I came to the conclusion that mine drove as good if not better in most cases than any newer model as well as having all the toys, consequently I'm going stick with the one I've got. If you've got a family and you require a car that serves you, I highly recommend the Seat Alhambra.
