Sky sports news is a sports news programme (obviously) and it is on channel 83 on freeview for me.
This channel is very useful to me because when I am eating breakfast in the morning or reading a book or something I can have this channel on in the background and get all the premiership news easily. Normally, the main picture is of the news-reader or someone being interviewed, and on the right of the screen is a space where they keep showing all the sports rankings and latest premiership table etc and also they have latest results and news running along the bottom of the screen.
I think that if you haven't picked up the daily paper yet then this channel is much easier than using teletext or the internet to get the latest sports news.
