Good Points

Beautiful pools, nice gardens, clean beach, also fun slides in pool for kids. The lobby is beautifully kept, very clean with a bit of a wow factor. Weather great, very hot.


Bad Points

Very difficult to obtain a drink at night time from the bars! Waiter service; you wait for ever, when they have enough clean glasses that is. Bar service; you would die of thirst first. Dining room; food very much the same, though of a reasonable standard. They are very mean, though when cutting and serving a joint of meat we were limited to two small pieces! Minibar; nothing ever in it, tea, coffee and coffee mate were the only drinks in the room for the first two days, it never gets filled up unless you tip well. Bit scarce on loo roll too. The entertainment leaves lots to be desired, therefore we found ourselves in bed quite early. On offer is the treatments from the health spa, a brilliant massage but you get hounded every day, sometimes twice, to try it. Behind the hotel is another complex, which has really loud disco music most nights. I know for some guest's, whose rooms backed onto this, it was too much and they asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel.


General Comments

If you have been all inclusive before, the LTI Grand Azure will perhaps be a let down, in the level of service or rather lack of it. They need lots more waiters in the lobby bar. Why not have a self service section too, to take the pressure off? This works very well in other 4/5* hotels we have been in. On balance, it was quite enjoyable and it was an experience to go and see the sights the country has to offer. I am so glad we went but if I went to Egypt again I would be tempted to try another hotel, as the service and lack of entertainment spoilt things for us. If you want better service in this hotel, be prepared to tip heavily.
