Solid, consistent ball flight, very long off the tee, straight shots, excellent distance and direction, even on mishits. Gives confidence at address...beautiful appearance. Lots of choices in shaft, grip, etc., but the standard shaft (made by USB) seems to perform the best.
Price is a little high, but most new technology drivers are expensive.
I have searched for years for a strong, consistent driver, but without success...until now. As a 10 handicap, senior golfer, I have been playing with Callaway Fusion irons, and a mixed bag of woods, mainly Cobra, but a Taylor Made Rescue 4 iron and various drivers, until now. I happened to be at the range when Ping was holding a demo day, and decided on a whim to try the drivers. The Ping Rapture and G2 and G5 were all on display, but the Rapture definitely took the day. Several friends were also trying them out, and when they tried the one I was using, they were also pleasantly surprised. I bought one immediately, played it that afternoon, and the results were spectacular. I highly recommend this club.
