Good Points

Southwest Airlines have courteous, funny staff, with good wit but they know when to be serious. A comfortable plane, cool livery (Triple Crown flight to PHL), basically everything. I've been a Southwest junkie ever since I started traveling, you can't beat low fares and excellent customer service.

Bad Points

I couldn't fly from Philly back to DC in all seriousness, Southwest doesn't have bad points. Flying that short of a distance doesn't make business sense, I wouldn't do it on any airline, even the ones that will make the trip. It's cheaper to drive. If there is anything wrong with SWA, it's that they don't fly all over the world but this would likely drive prices up and that's not something I want to see.

General Comments

Flight from BWI-FLL was nice, smooth. When we did encounter turbulence, the captain informed us beforehand and instructed us accordingly. Flight was on time, as usual, I've flown SWA numerous times and only had a couple delays, which we were informed of the reasons and every effort was made to get us to our destination on time. FLL-PHL was with a friend of mine, who was flying SWA for the first time and she is now hooked as well. Flight attendants used humor to make the pre-flight safety instructions less monotonous, flight was nice and arrived early. Neither I nor anyone I know has ever had luggage lost by SWA, although I've heard countless tales of other airlines' baggage woes. If you are traveling domestic in the US, the only way to go is Southwest.
