Does give a good shave.
Bad Points
The cleaner process is a total disaster, I absolutely do not like it. Shaver locks into the cleaner and will not release when I wanted to shave, spilled alcohol everywhere and when I finally got the Shaver out of the cleaner tank it was soaked in alcohol
General Comments
I had a Braun shaver similiar to this one that worked very well, the 8595 that replaced it just doesn't perform as well as my old one.

Have you haven ' t used a Braun with a cleaning dock before? When you want and if you want to clean the shaver with the alcohol, you must press the lock button for it to start the cleaning process which depending which cleaning process is automatically selected, it will take more or less time to finish, and you must first depress the lock button in order to release the shaver. Be careful not to interrupt the cleaning process once it has began.
