Good Points

Smooth Trigger, Close Replica of Smith and Wesson, Single and Double Action, 14 shot clips with other pellet manufacturers than Daisy (not 13 shot),fiber optic sight, pre-sighted rear fixed sight, very accurate, fast for CO2 Pistol

Bad Points

CO2 Screw, fiber optic can fall out, elevator jams (magazine mechanism: mag to barrel)

General Comments

I have the Daisy Powerline Model 45 and love it. I keep this for security in my house, and yes and air pistol can do plenty of damage to someone so if only point at something you intend to shoot. This gun will get 60 shots out of a CO2 cartridge and almost nothing more on a warm day and 15 second pauses between shots. I had to look around to get this air pistol since I bought it way after Daisy discontinued it. It won't misfire like the more modern cylinder fed pistols. The CO2 screw looks hideous, but I think I might be able to fit a piece of plastic over it to make it look like a mag. The elevator on mine has split a little which is fixed by a little super glue, the metal itself didn't split only the two halves that were previously glued together at the factory. I can use Superdomes in the mag and I can fit actually 14 pellets in it without jams. I recommend anyone going in snake country to bring this with them. I have killed a 3 and 1/2 foot extremely aggressive water mocassin with a 3 1/2" diameter with only 6 shots, THAT'S POWER! I have also killed a whopping 4 foot Diamondback with a 3 1/2 - 4" diameter with 14 shots cleanly. You need power when you start shooting at a Water Mocassin and it tries to strike you and this pistol definitely has that power. I highly recommend this CO2 Pistol. You can get this at www.pentagondefense.com for $66. I hope this review was helpful to you.

    Dear friend
You are right Daisy 45 is a great co2 pellet gun. My one is very powerful about 135m/s max. and 110m/s min. copy of Smith and Wesson is also good for collection.
