Good Points

Wonderful trigger. Comes with parts and accessories.

Bad Points

Sights are all black and hard to see in dim light. Flourescent paint helps. Palm support needs to adjust down a smidgen to give my hand more room. No safety, so you must be careful not to touch that very light trigger! Plastic case doesn't stay latched.

General Comments

Shoots EXACTLY where I point it. This gun is a superb value for the money. It's great for training, because you can see your errors immediately. If I miss the target, it's my fault and not the gun's. Isn't that just about the best thing we can say about any gun?

Interesting review shows inexperience with target arms. Target airguns...all that I know of are devoid of a mechanical safety. the user ultimately provides safe use. Target sights are black as coal to provide best contrast with the target. If you cannot see the sights in available light, then your shooting venue is too dark. I'm glad you liked the 46m, I appreciate your review. Tony

The 46M does have a safety; it’s the latch you push in before you fire the weapon. The sites are to competition standard and come with a number of them. Members in the air pistol club in Montevideo, Uruguay looked at my 46M and were impressed. One has a bronze in the Pan American games, and commented it was a good beginner’s competition pistol. He thought the trigger was a little forward for his short fingers, but found the weight and balance very good. He recommended I stay with the 46M until I consistently hit the 8, 9, and 10 rings or acquire a good group shot. I shot a total of 800 pellets. I shot a 497 after first 60 round course. I began to lose the 8 ring after 40 shots, too much swaying. Don't give up on this gun, mold the grips, try the sites and most important practice good stance and sight picture. Later on if you really love the sport and you have acquired the basics invest in 1200 dollar Steyr, Morini, Hammerili, Pardini ect......
