I think Sky + is really good. You can record an entire season of a program with a touch of a button. You can also pause, rewind programs as you watch them live which is good if you miss a bit of your favorite program or you want to see a goal scored again whilst watching football etc. So many channels I loose count when trying to count them.
If like me you subscribe for the full package "Sky World" in which you get movies, sports etc, maybe it is a bit expensive. I pay around £43 per month.
Once you get Sky + it would be hard to go back to normal TV because you get used to being able to record, rewind and pause live TV. It is amazing how far TV has come from those days when we just had five channels.
