Good service, reasonable prices and the shops are filled with things that are lovely souvenirs. The glass shop in the castle is great, take a look at the ornaments and the massive castle made of glass. Take the stairs down through the glass shop and face the dragon that lurks beneath.
Not many bad points but I had to stress that my sister had a allergy, in some restaurants they couldn't understand but after explaining for about 5 minutes they got what I was saying.
This was our first visit the the Disneyland Paris Resort, it was a fantastic experience, the staff were friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. we stayed in the Hotel New York it was a lovely hotel and our room was upgraded to a lake side view. The people at the reception of the hotel were helpful and took their time to explain where everything was. We were a party of three, two adults and a child aged 9 years, I wanted to treat my younger sister and we all enjoyed our stay, there were thing's to do for us all, so we were never bored. All in all, the park was brilliant, a lot of staff were around to guide you and also very clean. The theme was brilliant and I didn't find them worn out at all, everything was in very good condition. I advise you to get the Fast-pass as its much quicker and you skip all the long queues. If you're thinking of staying during a weekend, don't go during the week, it gets so packed you'll spend your day in a line with children moaning because their tiny legs hurt from standing up, for the rides with no Fast-pass access. Some rides were short but my favourite was, It's a Small World, the song will stick in your head for sure. As for food, if you're expecting to go, take money with you because eating junk food every night, as most folks did, isn't my idea of good dining. A meal for three people will set you back about 70-80 Euros in a good restaurant in Disney village and with a bottle of wine, about 100 euros. I recommend King Ludwig's castle, good setting and the Rain Forest Cafe, we asked for fajitas, they were delicious. You mustn't miss Buffalo Bills, wow what a show and the food isn't too bad but it is well worth the money just for the show and also you get unlimited beer and soft drinks including a tea or coffee at the end of the night. The staff made my little sister laugh as they were stealing her cowboy hat, when she was not looking, during the show. The rides were fantastic, we went on Pirates of the Caribbean about 6 times, it was so great. My sister bought a pirates hat and sword and we played in the pirate caves for a while. Highly recommended to anyone, even if you plan to go with no children, brilliant. We stayed for 6 days and had more than enough time to see all the park, we moved around at a leisure pace, which I found a lot more relaxing than rushing around the park to get it done in one day. I think about 3-4 days would do it. As we stayed for such a long time, we went in the morning to the park, then spent the afternoon in the hotel facilities. I liked the pool jacuzzi and the gym, they also had a sauna. The pool was massive and you don't need to bring your own towels, they're provided as you go into the changing rooms. On Saturday we went into the centre of Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, well worth the train ride. Money for the tickets set you back about 30 Euros for the train but we didn't go up to the top of the tower as the queues were horrendous.
Well, all you adults preparing to go, be warned, you will turn into children again as the magic hits everyone.
