General Comments

I have had my Samsung D600 a few weeks off a year now and still I am amazed with the quality. The video and playback are excellent and I have often uploaded vids on to You Tube. The camera is also good with 2 mega Pixels.

The only thing I do not like is the texting - even after this amount of time I still can't get used to the predictive text. What I hate the most is that the the words I type the most are the ones it will automatically change eg ME always comes out as OF and AM as AN even the process of having to go back and change it I hate. I know you can change it at the time but I often forget. I also do not like the fact that there is so many buttons to press to send the text as well and the fact it does not automatically save your email in the sent box.

I found this review helpful because Clair talks about using the camera for video filming for YouTube. I made a great film of my Otters on a weir then found that Samsung saved everything in mpeg 4 which my computer could not save and therefore failed to get the film on YouTube. I use windows xp as the operating system and have media player 11 I think. I wished I had bought a Nokia which saved things as AVI files. So how did you get round mpeg 4 Clair?

    Hi

I just saved all files to My Videos on Windows XP and then uploaded on to You Tube. I have now updated my Samsung D600 to a Nokia N95 and can safely say that the Samsung is easier to upload pictures and video's both on to my computer and online on Flicker and You Tube.
