General Comments
I didn't actually use St Helens Glass as I heeded the warnings in the numerous bad reviews but I wanted to speak to as many people in the UPVC game before making a decision on who to go with. SHG fall into the stereo-typical "double-glazing salesman". The salesman used the usual tricks like "I need to phone my boss" or "we have a promotion" or we can reduce the cost by x and x by doing this and that" - I felt that this was all mis-information. The salesman actually admitted that he had only been in the job for 3 weeks after coming out of the army. My advice is to stay well away from SHG as they give the windows industry a bad name.
