Good Points

Very nice rifle, expecially considering the $130 price from South Summit. Accurate, exceptionally powerful.

Bad Points

Some folks complain about its weight and cocking effort, but I have had no problems shooting it for several hours at a time.

General Comments

I played with cheap airguns for awhile, and still enjoy them, but I began hearing about the B-21, and finally bought one for myself. The only thing I would change (if I were redesigning it) is a better stock finish and attractive blueing instead of the more practical but dull phosphatizing.

It shoots well right out of the box, but I find that it takes a firm grip to get good accuracy. Hold it well into your shoulder, as if it were a highpower rifle. Light grips apparently allow the strong bounce of the spring release to affect grouping. At least, that's my impression.

It tends to be picky about which pellets it likes, but it thrives on cheap Daisy Max-speed wadcutters. It chronographs about 950 - 970 FPS, and - from a bench - can pick up dimes at 25 yards most every time with them if I do my share, and nickles if I'm careless. I haven't had a chance to try it at longer ranges yet, but have no real qualms about its performance. Mine will put the Daisy MaxSpeeds through half an inch of plywood with ease, and I have heard of others going through 3/4 inch plywood (haven't tried that with mine yet).

The short version is that I like it so much that I ordered another one (a B-22, in .22 caliber) which seems to be a duplicate in power and accuracy of the B-21.177 version. I think the B-21 / B-22 will give you more for your money than anything else around. I'm told it's probably the best Chinese air rifle on the market today, and see no reason to challenge that evaluation. They're great!

I shoot FT with Mine. With a 20X scope at 20 yards I shoot thru the same ragged hole A+++ with this air Rifle.
