Bad Points

6 weeks without kitchen for them to complete a '2 day' job - an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I advise that you avoid them...here are just some of my experiences (as set out in one of my many letters to them!):

1)No filter hood provided - although paid for new appliance fitter was going to just cover old hood.
2)Since new sink fitted there is now a constant leak under the sink - so much so that a bowl has to be permanently under pipes.
3)The three drawers to the right of the cooker are over 1.5cm too short and consequently you can see the white and mahogany of the frames behind them.
4)New tap fitted so badly that it is completely wobbly and unstable.
5)New hinges are not large enough to 'cover old holes' as I was promised by the salesman, so look very untidy.
6)The 2 doors with fake drawers under the sink are so badly cut that the difference in the height of the drawers is almost one cm.
7)The cupboard to the right of the filter is so badly hung that it will not even completely shut.
8)The sideboard has chips in it and has been cut too small around the sink side, a large chip has been made on the right hand side on the outer lip against the wall which the fitter has glued back on and there are chips on the right hand fridge side.
9)There is no piece of wood covering the large gap between the sideboard and the oven and the sideboard and the washing machine.
10)There are general dents/scratches and marks on various drawers/doors and wood panels.
11)Each drawer and cupboard was marked on the outside for the handle fitting as was the kitchen surface - difficult to clean off and left unsightly dents in wood.
12)Each drawer and cupboard was left full of sawdust/pieces of wood etc. and the new cooker was fitted on top of 2 inches of previous grime - a disgraceful way to leave a new kitchen.


General Comments

Don't do it - run like the wind - take your money and go elsewhere whilst your sanity and kitchen are still intact.
