Jeremy Clarkson is the kind of guy that you either love or hate. I honestly believe that those who hate him are simply insecure. He has said loads of stuff in the past that has conflicted with my opinions and insulted me, but I am not insecure enough to let it bother me or even take his views to heart.
I think that if you take his writing for what it is - purely entertainment - then you will enjoy it immensely.
Jezza makes loads of funny observations about stuff in articles from his nerwspaper columns, I think they might be from the Times New Review because I read that column and it seems to be about similar topical opinions of his.
This is the type of book which you just pick up at any page and read.
Overall, this is a really funny book and I think you will enjoy it a lot as long as you don't take anything he says seriously, because after all, at the end of the day, he is writing this to amuse his thousands of fans, not to seriously debate world matters, etc.

Jeremy Clarkson, The World According To Clarkson is one of those books I have been meaning to get around to reading, but as of yet, I haven't found the time! I think Jeremy is great, and his dry sense of humour and ad lib sarcastic remarks have me in stitches!
