Helpful staff.
eager to pounce, tell you what you want to hear (i.e how long is this going to take... " ohh only 1/2 hour or so you'll be driving out of hear in no time...
My wife and I went in to Carcraft, on Saturday last week and spent 5 and a half hours being told that I would be able to drive away that day.
As it was a must, I kept on confirming this to be told of course, our aim is to make sure you leave with the car on the day of purchase....WELL, after 5 and a half hours of being bored stiff in the waiting area, I was told in the last ten minutes before deal was signed that they did not have the V5 logbook..... Surely this is something they would have known at the beginning of the day when I showed an interest in the car.... (of course they did they didn't tell me because they didn't want me to go elsewhere), I was most disappointed as I was looking forward to leaving in my new car..my wife is moments from having a baby, and we still nearly a week and a half on have no sign of my new car. I have paid the deposit and thats all they seem interested in now, I have called constantly to find out what is going on, and all I get is, " sorry its out of our hands at the moment, it's the DVLA that are taking their time", to which I said to them "do you not think its wise to make sure you have all the credentials for the vehicles that are up for sale on the forecourt, you don't go to the travel agents, book a flight then get to the airport and they say sorry we forgot or seemed to have lost the PILOT... come on do me a favour...To top it of my wife could go into labour any minute and we have no means of independently getting anywhere. And to make things worse I don't think they have ever heard of the term "Call Back"..!!!! which we get promised but never happens.. My advice to anyone going to purchase a car from what seem like a load of cowboys without horses, is to get all the facts before waisting the best part of weekend.
