Nice looking phone, love the slide feature. Good quality camera. Easy to use menu, nice interface. Can take up to and over 11 minute videos - I've tried! Heh heh.
Easy to text with, nice flat keypad you can run your fingers over, especially handy if you're pretty quick at texting, like myself I suppose. I spend far too much on texting!
Seems pretty durable actually! I dropped mine in a sink full of soapy water and it stopped working, until I took the battery and sim card out of the phone and placed it in a cold basin of water, and placed this at the sunny window upstairs. After two days, I removed the phone and let it dry in the window until it was completely dry. Although one or two of the keys were sticking for a couple days after that, the screen completely recovered, and now the phone works perfectly. In fact, you would never guess by looking at it.
Can't have vibration and ring alert on at the same time. Slot at the bottom to charge your phone is fiddly - I reckon it will break rather easily, since you have to open the little slot with your nail each time. Also, the headphones supplied with the phone are of rather poor quality. Depending on whether you use Mp3 files for your ringtone, sometimes the volume isn't as loud as you may wish, say if you were out shopping or in the club.
The Samsung D600 is a good phone. Had mine about 2 years now, would recommend it to anybody!
