Good Points

Everything!
* Tab menu
* Most used components (little regard for "junk" functions)
* Beautiful layout possibilities
* User defined properties
* Cool ability to create and save user symbols (saved in the proper scale, i might add)
* Again, did I mention everything!


Bad Points

OK, there is but one bad thing............

The icon is a little cheesey!


General Comments

I was surprised at the amount of criticism that was written on this product! I have been using Deltacad for over 4 years now and have "sold it" to many others after showing them how easy it is to use. I am a Machining Technology Instructor at a North Texas College and found that the best way to teach people machining technique is to develop a simple "Basic" understanding that they can easily learn and build on. Deltacad offers you the same ease of use so that when (or IF) you choose to use those high-end programs you at least have some knowledge of basic cad. I have challenged Autocad users to a timed race at drawing somewhat complicated drawings and have kicked their butt every time! They may not offer you all of the bells and whistles that Autocad does, but they give you the functions that are most commonly used. Just for the record, don't try to call software developers to fix your computer problems as one of these reviewers did.............that isn't Deltacads problem, it's not Autocads problem, it's not Turbocads problem, it's YOUR problem! With every software purchase there is always some learning that is associated with it, doesn't matter what it is. Deltacad takes you down the simplest, straightest, easiest road to creating your 2D drawing projects, and for that I am grateful. The more you use this product, the more you will love it! I can't believe that it is only $39.95!
