Good Points

Thick cable, compact and easy to carry with included mount for bicycle. Reasonable price (but read more).

Bad Points

Lock mechanism is flimsy. The keys are too thin to resist torque with ordinary use. One key twisted a bit when I first used it, so from then on I used the second one, albeit much more cautiously. Even still, the second key broke off inside the lock a few months later when I was unlocking the bike. A 2mm thick key made of poor quality metal is an extraordinarily poor design.

General Comments

This lock is designed for either bicycles or possibly motorcycles. Since I have both, I used it for both, but mainly my bicycle while attending school in, you guessed it, Oxford. I think I paid about 20 pounds for it, but even for that price it turned out to be a total headache and a serious waste of money. There are two videos going around the internet of a guy who opens Oxford locks (different models) WITH A PEN! I kid you not, they opened right up as if he was using a key. Though this didn't happen for me, the lock mechanism was so shoddy and rough that it was bound to cause the thin key to break inside of the keyhole. I cut the lock off with a hacksaw in about five minutes, only to find that the "thick" cable was made to appear more so by the clear vinyl coating. The actual cable inside was much thinner - neat trick, Oxford.
