General Comments

This film is mint. The film depicts the shenanigans of "everybodys favourite bear" Yogi and his faithful side-kick Boo-Boo while they experience their "first christmas"(usually bears hibernate over the winter months). The bears are awoken from their slumber by the noise emanating from a nearby hotel, once Yogi goes to investigate then all manner of crazy adventures begin to unfold for our intrepid heroes. Yogi encounters an obnoxious Hotel Manager who takes an instant dislike to Yogi and is always looking to "grass him-up" for anything which goes wrong in and around the Hotel. Yogi must also battle against the antics of Mrs Throckmorton's(Hotel Owner) naughty nephew and the dastardly local hermit Herman, these two character appear to have lost the "spirit" of Christmas and are intent on ruining the holiday festivities. Plenty of Hanna-Barbera characters make cameo appearances in this movie to give it a real all-star cast feel. The movie is more than 25 years old now so obtaining a copy may prove quite difficult but I would highy recommed as it's real magical stuff!! Look out for "Doggie Daddy" he's a real character!

Wow Micky! We had this on Video years ago! My older sons loved Yogi Bear's First Christmas so much, the tape wore out and broke! I didn't realise this was made on DVD now!
