Good Points

Cheap, cuts out all background noise, sound quality very good, quite comfortable. good bass handling, treble very clean without sounding like its in a tin.


Bad Points

Mid range can be a little sludgy, can hear a slight hissing sound when no sound is present, can tell that you are wearing them.


General Comments

Got these KOSS Spark Plug earphones from ebay for a tenner and have been well worth it, I listen to them for at least 4 hours a day at work and have held up to some real abuse. Nowadays the foam has degraded and they are quite hard to shove down your ear canal however you get two sets of foam and i've only used one (lost the others long ago) also i think the cones are starting to go as i get the odd crackle with some music, but rarely and not that bad.
For work they can be a bit of a nightmare as they really do cut out all background noise and I have been known to miss phone calls with my relatively loud phone about 16" away from my face!
Finally it may just be me and i believe it will be the same for all ear canal phones, sometimes after a day of listening music my brain feels kinda funny a bit like a headache but obviously started from my eardrums being vibrated (maybe I should be worried?).
