Walkman mp3 player
2 megapixel camera
Bright screen
Feels good quality
Complicated compared to other phones
Kept catching the walkman button when I didn't mean to
Voice activated dialing did not work at all.
I bought this phone on contract to replace my Samsung E720. I found it hard to choose between the Motorola V3im and this but the saleswoman persuaded me that this was the better phone for mp3s. After using Nokia, Motorola, Sendo and Samsung previously I found the menus hard to get used to and kept accidentally going into the walkman player without intending to. My main reason for changing phones was to get one with voice activated dialing so I could use my bluetooth handsfree (or wouldn't have changed from the Samsung). I tried to get this function to work but couldn't even hear the commands to set it up! After 2 days I returned to the shop and asked them if I could change to the V3im - I'm so glad that I did because everything is so much easier and it has speaker independent voice activated dialing which means you don't even have to train the phone to recongise your voice. If you have the time I would say the Sony is a good phone and the mp3 player is very good. But to be honest, none of my friends or relatives were very impressed when I showed them.
