General Comments

Only had this gun for a week and have used it solely on targets in my attic. I really want to use it to kill grey squirrels that have invaded my loft and am told by the dealer it is powerful enough to kill them. I also purchased a 4x scope. On test firing I found the open sights to be easy to use. The new neon front sight is particularly useful in locating exactly where the barrel is aiming. It fills the backsight notch perfectly making shooting at targets relatively secure. With its CO2 source, the airgun is very easy to set up and use although, at 60p the little gas containers will prove expensive in the long run. I like the safety catch and it is also useful to be able to take out the magazine to make the gun even safer. The multiple (12) shot magazine is easy to refill and change so you can do a lot of shooting very quickly - expensive again. I imagine that multiple hits on a squirrel would be very effective in killing it humanely. I found the gun to be accurate, once set up, but there is a noticeable drop-off when the gas is about to run out. Lack of recoil and overall quietness make this rifle easy to shoot accurately and reduces the annoyance to others in the area. I would recommend this gun to others but was really disturbed to see the huge difference in price between UK and USA (£110 to £140 here, $69 or less there). I use a 4X scope which was easy to fit and which enhances accurate shooting enormously. Only thing - I wear varifocal spectacles and found it almost impossible to see both target and reticle together. Had to shoot with my specs off most of the time. Better in the daylight. I would welcome any comments on that particular point.
