Good Points

Well i had this bought for me when i was only fifteen years old it seemed good it has better quality then some other 410's .

Bad Points

When i used to fire the gun it was very inaccurate, most of the time what i would be shooting at would only get hit by one BB even at very close ranges yet it seems that the center bb is the only accurate bb. What i try to say is that it acts more like a rifle than a shot gun most of all other bb's are worthless in the 410 ten cartridge except for the center bb that comes out of the muzzle of the 410 got to be very close to target extremely close or it wont act like a shotgun.

General Comments

Another problem with this gun is that the three inch shot shells are too strong for the frame of this 410 2/1/2 size. Shot shells are great for this 410 as they run smooth threw the barrel. The red color hi power winchester 410 shells are too powerful to use in this gun, i swear that the high power 410 shells are too dangerous to continually use in this gun because of the beating the high power shells do can eventually blow the gun open or bust too much force threw the bottom where the trigger is. I still remember when i was 15 years old i was using the high power winchester red color shot shell so much force it would shoot out the bottom underneath the trigger it felt like the shot blow my finger and hand so this model 410 can not take high power or the three inch shell the only shot i recommend for this model 410 is the green 2'1/2 inch Remington shot shell shot smooth and not so loud to and the shot works better because the lower velocity keeps the shot more together a little longer at little more distance than the high velocity separates the shot faster than what is useful. Another reason why i change from owning this 410 is that the hammer is on the outside and i got tired of the hammer on the out side of the gun and i find out latter that they have double barrel 410 shot guns side by side and they have longer barrel length making them better at longer distance and they are not pricing Walmart sales a double barrel side by side hammers are inside for only around 250 dollars good price to so i recommend getting a different 410 shot gun if you own the new england one because your missing out on better made and designed more for your frame more the new england has a huge back stock and is curved in a position that doesn't sit right with the shooter buts its up to you but this is my thought on this 410 i got rid of mine and bought a double barrel with the hammers in side thats what i recommend.

A single shot, break action receiver made of steel will certainly take full power 410 loads with no problems. If there is disagreement, look at some very successful 12 gauge pump guns (Mossberg 500) with aluminum receivers. They handle 12 gauge pressures just fine. A break action, fixed receiver is as strong an action as you can get. I have used 3" 00 buckshot extensively (300+) rounds with absolutely no problems. As far as poor accuracy goes, the bore is choked very tightly (I don't recall what the factory choke is), thus a little more care is need than if using a very wide patterned choke.

I disagree with this review because...
Opinion on durability IS NOT BASED on knowledge. It is simply an opinion. Recommendations should not be made by uneducated (not in general, in respect to firearms) people.
