Lightweight, low price, powerful, durable, moderate accuracy...
All plastics except some internal parts, trigger too heavy, Hop up part easy to break.
I got this 6mm plastic BBs KJW MK1 at around USD38 around 4 years ago, which was a good deal compare with most of the Airsoft guns in the market. It is made with plastic and non-blow back.
Initially I was using the Top gas on this KJW MK1 Pistol, since it looks very fragile with all plastic construction. I found it was not much fun to play with due to the reactively lower power than the CO2 propelled air pistols. Furthermore, I was oiling the MK1 too much. The Hop up seems not working well even after adjusted and adjust... Finally, the hop up part was damaged.
Last year I dug into my old stuffs and found the MK1 again, and I bought some crazy glue to glue the hope up part together.
I thought, what the heck! Since it was broken already, let me try with the ET-1600 RED GAS (cost approx 13)... The performance was much better than the Top gas. After finished a whole tank ET-1600 RED GAS and tens of thousands of BBs, the MK1 is still doing fine. And lately I have bought a ET-2200 RED GAS (cost approx. USD15) for the MK1, the power increase was much more significant! It can penetrate the bottom of a soda can neatly st point blank using 0.2g BB!
The MK1 is a cheap, durable and very interesting airsoft gun to play with. It is highly recommended!
Remember:
1.don't over oil the guns since the pressurized gas already contains lubricant.
2.Don't tighten the hop up part too much, it is very fragile.
3.Never point / shot at any body with the Airsoft gun. Even it is using 6mm plastic BBs it could cause serious injury to a persons or animals.
Enjoy the MK1!
