The Cometa 400 was a surprise birthday present last year. Two days later I added a Luger 4X32 scope and I think the setup is great. I suppose like all springers you have to learn how to hold it 'just right'. For me this means balancing it in my open left hand and just resting it gently against my shoulder.
In terms of accuracy its very good. Apart from the usual paper targets I've moved from using gambling chips, to beer bottle tops and now small beads which I can hit 3 out of 4 whilst squatting down at 25 yards.
I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
