Good Points

They are ace at taking your money for 4 years and always passing you to some one else when you need something.


Bad Points

They will not pay out when you need it, or are entitled to it


General Comments

We had a total mortgage protection cover with Halifax and when we made a claim they came up with all excuses so they did not have to pay.

    I found this review helpful because... We have an on-going claim for sickness with the halifax ( for the past 3 months). Now they want medical records from 4 years ago to decide whether our claim will be honoured or not !

    Yes exactly the same happening with us at the moment, husband just been made redundant, never being out of work in 43 years, now trying to claim on our Halifax Mortgage Protection insurance and keep getted told that the policy isn't valid because we moved house, finally told they would pay a few ago then received a letter today saying the policy expired a couple of days ago!!!!!!?????

    Seeing a solicitor 1st thing Monday morning
