I am on Orange's Virgin Plan, which is no longer available. I have been on this tariff for over 5 years and with Orange for 11 years. Calls cost 15p/minute for first 5 minutes then 5p/minute for rest of day
Bad Points
Want to convert onto a contract, but they do not regard me as a regular customer as they say this is a pay as you go contract. Totally unwilling to consider my loyalty of 10 years!

Now looking for a good provider - but it is a minefield!

Hi redroseinexile, sorry to hear your problems with Orange I had something similar too. I would recommend T-Mobile Flext I find it cheap and reliable. They also have lots of deals on so if you want freebies go to a shop like The Link if however you just want to save money go to T-Mobile direct they usually give you a great discount. One thing that you will notice is how much money you save from going from PAYG to contract. I would however avoid any cashback deals!
