General Comments

I got a synthetic stock 1077 around 5 years ago at around USD170. I love the look of the gun, all black and feels right when you have it hand (Well balanced, not too light / too heavy).

This synthetic stock from the 1077 is totally different from the plastic stock on the Crosman 760 and the Daisy 880. The Daisy 880 stock feels like junk, the Crosman 760 stock is a bit better. The synthetic stock on the 1077 is in fact better than real wood stock. It is easy to clean, durable, and not easy to scratch. I do recommend this synthetic stock over the wooden stock!

For shooting, I found that the rear sight is very hard to adjust and this affect the accuracy significantly. Therefore, I have got a Tasco 3-9 x 40 scope for it. It cost around USD32 with the mount.

With the Tasco Scope mounted on the 1077, I could hit the center of the bottom of a soda can almost every time at around 50ft away. At around 100ft, I could hit a soda can almost every shot. I was using Gamo Rounds (Lead BBs). The Accuracy should be increase with Pellets.

My 1077 was manufactured before 1999, therefore I cannot use the adaptor upgrade kit. Instead I can only use the 12-gram CO2 cartridges. It claims to be able to fires as fast as you can pull the trigger, but the faster you pull the trigger the lower the FPS especially in cold weather (just like all the CO2 air guns).

Let the 12-gram CO2 cartridge warm up shot after shot, and try not to lift up the barrel over horizontal position for the first 2 clips, you may get better result and yield more shots from a 12-gram CO2 cartridge.

The CO2 cartridges seal is much better than the Gamo, I have not yet change the seal years after. (I had changed 3 CO2 cartridges on my P23 in a few month).

With adaptor upgrade kit for the 1077 it surely will become more fun to shoot, I hope they can also make a upgrade kit to replace 12 shot rotary clips to 120 shot??
