Bad Points
Costly on petrol, and insurance is bit high but I'm 26 so it wasn't that bad for me, plus I had a clean licence which helps. No real bad points, just luck of the draw - you could end up with an older one.
The trick is to buy an old one with the engine worn out and then have it rebuilt, that way you have piece or mind or do what I did: buy one already done that way you save yourself a fortune in the long run.
General Comments
My Pulsar had everything done to it: lightened balanced bottom end, HKS piston, cams, uprated brakes, Suspension 17 wheels, Nismo Dog Box and Nismo rear diffuser. I was running 380bhp (no joke) I raced my mate's Lamborghini and had him up to 100mph (and I mean off the line) I was away and at 103 when he started catching. Any Pulsar with 320bhp or more - nothing on road will touch it (except from the bike and the odd kit car). Also, my pulsar was all stripped out so it was light as a feather, which helped.
These cars are seriously under rated, which I like about them you only hear about Scoobys and Skylines being the fast Japanese cars. They should watch out because Pulsars are affordable and seriously quick. Remember 0-60 standard they are 5.5 seconds with 220 bhp, so just imagine one with 350 bhp scary very scary i assure you - it feels as if your stomach hits your spine and makes you feel slightly sick - love it!
