Bad Points

Low light sensitivity

General Comments

Panasonic WV-F250E is 1/2" 3CCD professional camera had that can be docked with analog VTRs and studio back.
This camera uses old type IT image sensors and has a low light sensitivity, only 30lux with full gain and 1:4/2000lux as well smear can be seen from strong light sources and even from a simple 60W lamp, so operator has to pay attention and avoid such conditions in which overall picture quality will suffer.
However with good light this camera gives very impressive picture with great colors and superior sharpness.
As well, like most of Panasonic's, this camera has very good service functions that are displayed in electronic viewfinder, like aperture and battery voltage (in Sony DXC-327 you have to press special button to display these params and they disturb picture viewing).
This unit has mono and stereo sound connectors and no built in microphone.
It is a nice camera that still can be used for production and gives a modern picture that can be translated in television, but it needs a lot of light to get really rich colours.
With all advantages of this unit, I'm not recommending it, because of light sensitivity. It is better to choose next models like WV-F565 or WV-F700.
I paid 100$ for this camera.
